One who says โI will sin and I will repent, I will sin and I will repentโโthey have no ability to effect repentance. โI will sin and Yom Kippur will effect atonementโโYom Kippur will not effect atonement. Transgressions that are between a person and the OmnipresentโYom Kippur effects atonement; transgressions that are between a person and their fellowโ Yom Kippur does not effect atonement until they have appeased their fellow.
